I was driving this last saturday to work through some THICK ass fog (could only see 2-3 road reflectors/bumps ahead) at like 4a.m. got a call to find out the testing I was doing was delayed. Anyways, had to drive for another few minutes before turning around and going home and WHAT happens??? My indigay guages starting changing colors and dimming simultaneously and did that about 3-4 times and just went out completely. F**K!. So I'm driving and I've got NO backlights behind the guages and can BARELY see how fast I'm going. Thankfully I get home safely and mess with the lights turning them on/off quickly to see if it was a short but it wasn't. Since the time I bought these guages over a year ago, I never got the guages to work correct.... I've had it wired correctly but relay wouldn't change the colors or dim the guages with the little remote it came with unless I used my dimmer on my guage cluster. Yesterday I went to procarparts AGAIN and ordered another set ($42 shipped) and will only be using the relay... Atleast I'll have an extra set of guages if I get another Z =o) Just thought I'd share.
